About Jamie Lee
Thank you for visiting my site. Although I have far too many passions, this website will focus on my passion for writing fiction and for envisioning a world where people can and do live together in a loving and rich way. My blog will wander in and out of my interests in education, human develop-ment, and writing. Milt set up my new site so the recent blog post will appear (like magic) on the front page. Too cool.
When I was a little girl, I always collected rocks where ever I went. Now, my stories seem to expand this into true passion. A recent novel is about a girl who falls in love with a stone. You can read an excerpt by clicking here.

Jamie Lee's Blog
We have been on the run since our trip to NYC. Milt has been re-editing Video Letters From Prison based on the great info we got from Fernanda. In the meantime, the plot for our strawbale has been leveled and a load of clay arrived on the property today. Now that he got the rough cut done, we will be seriously looking at "rasising the roof" and laying the foundation for our new house. I feel a little bit like I am in a dream. I've had a pattern in my life of not really believing good things can happen to me. It is strange, because great things DO happen to me. My life is blessed beyond ...

Summer's End
If you have been following our summer progress, you will know that Milt and I have bought some land in Northern MN and are "homesteading". We spent a month up there in a small camper and fell in love with the place. Next summer we will be building a strawbale cabin. Stay in touch.
A Berry Good Thing
Want to help me plant a berry patch this summer? My plan is to put in about 50 Blueberry plants plus rasberries, black-berries, and strawberries on our new chunk of land in N. Minnesota. I don't have much money so I am inviting you to help me plant my garden. Every $10 donation buys a plant. As a thank you, I'll send you one of The Bead People and your own copy of The Wind of a Thousand Years plus infrequent progress reports. You can also come and help me pick in a couple of years. A quirky request but you don't get help unless you ask for it.
Many Kites Press and Oyate Online Join Hands
For over ten years my husband Milt Lee and I have been producing public radio programs, film, and books. The body of work (both ours and the work of others) has grown. To accomodate our growing list, we've decided to merge Many Kites and Oyate.com into one site and one easy to use store. We have some of the most authentic and beautiful Native American material on Planet Earth. We also have a number of regional authors featured. Please stay posted and be sure to visit our online store.
